GIS of hiking trails in the Eagle Mountains

The aim of the diploma thesis was to create the functional core of geographic information system (GIS) of hiking trails in the Eagle Mountains including the spatial analysis. The first part, more theoretical, is dedicated to the brief description of the theory and initial analysis before the particular creation of GIS. In the second part, more practical, the process of the respective task is described from the data collection to data editing, creating the core of GIS, spatial analysis and final visualization.

Goal of this thesis is to show reader a complete overview about possibilities of processing map data from project OpenStreetMap, to show each step of generating off-line map and describe its advantages and disadvantages. Next goal of this thesis is to implement one processing pipeline for generating offline map including contour lines and hiking trails. 
The motion and survey recreational walking footpath for seniors

The aim of this thesis is the design and focus of walking trails designed for seniors in Brno. The work will be described preparatory work, the approach measurement and postprocessing profiles. It will be followed by a detailed description of created routes and places of interest. From the thesis will be created clear guide for tourists.
A touristic hinterland of travel aktivity in CHKO Třeboňsko with coverage on natural attractiveness

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the evaluation and proposal of the possible use of the implementation potential of tourism in the CHKO Třeboňsko. In the introductory part, the author introduces his readers to the geographical characteristics of the area, where it is possible to get acquainted with the natural and socio-economic conditions of the area. Part of this chapter is also a mention of localities of interest on which the analysis is performed. However, the most important is the analytical part, which discusses the implementation potential in terms of collective accommodation facilities and the availability of individual tourist routes to the sites of interest. Due to this analysis, it is possible in the end to evaluate the current implementation tourist potential and outline in which parts of the CHKO Třeboňsko the implementation potential leads to negative consequences.
Analysis of Littering in the protected areas of the Czech Republic

The problems of litter are now getting to the forefront of attention in the realm of waste research. The phenomenon of littering is monitored especially in towns, but not so much outside the urbanized areas. Waste represents, for both esthetic and conservationist reasons, an undesirable phenomenon. This holds true for the protected areas in particular. This Master's Thesis is concerned with the analysis of litter, which should be the first step in the prevention and solution of the problems of littering. Three protected landscape areas and two national parks were chosen for this survey. Two tourist trails were selected in each protected area - the main and the minor one. The collection of litter was carried out in spring, summer and autumn. Collected waste was categorized at first and then a number of pieces, weight and volume were set for each category concerned. The largest amount of litter was collected in the National park Krkonoše and the smallest in the Protected landscape area Kokořínsko. The largest number of litter pieces is represented by cigarette waste, followed by plastic and hygienic waste.
